Right guys, first post! I'm re-sitting my FICA Inspection and testing tomorrow, it's the only part I failed during my first attempt.

I'm pretty confident about the continuity tests and the live testing, i'm just not 100% on the Insulation Resistance.

As far as i'm aware, I disconnect the RCBO and re-connect these cables to a breaker as the circuit obviously must be tested. Switch off the RCD socket, disconnect the heater and emergency light and remove the lamp at the bulkhead fitting. Switch on the 20A switch which controls the industrial socket. I've also to disconnect the motor. Flick on the main switch and all breakers.

Test the three phases to eachother, and test them each to Earth and Neutral. Test at the motor to check the cables from the motor to the contactor.

Do I do anything about the Eart bonds at the Gas and Water pipes.

Cheers in advance folks.
