Finally given up hope!!!

I've been keeping my fingers crossed all year but I've finally had to accept.... We're NOT getting a Summer this year

The temperature has dropped, the dark nights are closing in faster and faster and it is currently lashing with rain as I type.

It wouldn't be so bad if I had been away on a Sunny holiday abroad this year, or last, or even the year before that come to think of it.

Time to give in to S.A.D now I think.

I understand exactly what you mean though, I would love a holiday abroad, well anywhere really. I really begrudge switching the heating on, I'm thinking of telling the kids to stick their coats, hats and gloves on.......:sweatdrop:

I can be sat at home in a just a pair of shorts sweating like a PIG and the Wife will go and put the heating on. Then she doesn't understand why I give her an earache about her putting extra clothes on because I can't take any more off and I'm MELTING!!! lol It gets sooo hot in our house that I feel like I could almost pass out.... And she's still bloody cold!!!
