Has anyone sorted out finance independent of Green Deal? I'm having some research done in the next few weeks to see if there's demand for finance (people buy cars on finance all the time so no reason why they wouldn't do pv - although it wouldn't be my choice to buy that way!)

The CCL seems sooo expensive I don't want to go down that route unless I know that there's going to be a demand.

we're looking into it for the commercial sector. Think I may have got it down to a ---- up between 2 options now.

How about someone like WE Credit? They seemed reasonable priced rates. Easy to use. If i had demand for credit facilities i would certainly consider them for domestic customers

Thanks il steer clear then! It all sounded simple anyway!

So are there any other decent finance companies? I spoke to one earlier but my turnover is under £400K so they are not interested.

To be honest our main market are the "baby boomers" whom are retiring cash rich and over generous pensions. They will be looking at investing and saving. the facts that Inflation the biggest enemy to the retired folk, will stay high 3%+ for the short to medium term. Interest rates will remain low, with predictions that BOE will stay at 0.5% for the next 5 years. With energy prices inflating at 5% and the FITs linked to RPI will ensure Solar PV will serve the old chaps well .....!

Even with good loans the average chap with kids can not see past paying for the next summer holiday, take my self I really have so many other things to pay for...new fence, driveway, extension etc !
