Hello everyone
Been a while since I've been in the forum. Nearly too long. Anyway I was wondering if there was anyone working on the Google data
centre job in Finland? All I've heard so far is its 18 days on 3 off then 18 on 4 off. Also that flights and accommodation is included for and
the pay is it think 250 sterling a day. I'm looking to know what the conditions are like it, working hours, etc and anything else I need to
know. I recently got my inspection and testing course and would love to have a job like this on the cv testing as well. Appreciate any help lads

Well lads. So a take it no one has any info on this Google job. Really want to find out some info before I take plunge on this one. I am working in London already so it would be a risk going out there but is something I'd love to do. Also if no one knows anything about it but wants the recruiter info I can give them it. Although they promise the stars most the time I'd rather be safe than sorry

There are a couple of irish lads on my job who have a few mates out there. They say it is like one big prison camp in the middle of no where. They were told it would be tax free but when they got paid a great big chunck of tax was taken out of it.It is 12 hours a day 7 days a week with no extra for the weekend.ÂŁ250 a day for 12 hours is not very good at all.It shouldnt be too hard in london to get ÂŁ200 for a 10 hour day.The least i earnt last year in london was ÂŁ200 a day and that was for 8 hours and just before Christmas i was geting ÂŁ270 for an 11 hour day

Thanks Essexboy7! Yeah your dead right. 250 pound a day is definitely not good at all especially for 12 hours. Don't like the sound of going to jail either lol. A lot of the times these recruiters will tell you anything to get you out there and I never believe a word of there tripe. That's the good thing about these forums. Cheers

I think the contractors phoenix m&e, and jpng agency were after blokes for it. A couple of blokes from the site im on were out there for awhile working direct for the firm.. the moneys not great, the jobs in the middle of nowhere and the digs are an hour or 2 from the job also in the middle of nowhere.

Well this job doesn't sound the best so might pass on it after hearing some info so cheers for that lads. The contact information had was a guy called Charlie Savill and the number is 02081148157 so good luck to any of use that go for it. Let me know how use get on. I will keep my eye out for any other jobs abroad and let use know. I hear Norways nice
