Hi, I read on forums and supplier websites that downlighters in rental property should be fire rated. I understand this is the case where the rented property is a single storey flat with other dwellings above, but can anyone advise where it is defined for other types of rented property? Please note I am differentiating between recommendations (per the ESC leaflets) and requirements. It does not appear to be required by Approved Document B. Many thanks.
