Hello
Finally getting round to add more light circuits to the bedrooms beyond the existing one pendant.
Most of it fairly easy, but 2 things are not 100% on:
1) wardrobe lights: where do you normally clip the wire for it to protrude from the plaster i.e. anywhere behind the future wardrobe area, near the top/bottom etc? Is best practice to terminate into a junction box or (max 6amp labelled) 13amp single socket for future connection to the wardrobe lights themselves?
2) bed sight lights: how do you normally run your wires for light fitting Vs switch? I'm just thinking wire will come down from ceiling to light and vertically below will be switch i.e. directly above and below light fitting is live wire so how do you fix the fitting. Or is it better to have switch to left or right so that below where wire for light fitting is a safe place to actually mount the fitting?
