First Green Deal Miss-seeling featured this am on Rip Of Britain

"Becoming Green" a South Wales based business have just been featured heavily on 'Rip off Britain' on miss-selling the green deal,

The programme indirectly did quite a good job of promoting the benefits of the Green Deal process and what it could offer.

Most importantly what it did was to highlight the rogue practices of various companies.

Becoming Green were charging £299 just to arrange for a GDA to visit!

Just caught the tail end of this while working in a customers house. Pretty much as I expected really. If it takes a salesman to tell you something is in your best interest and is a great deal, it probably isn't. Oh what has the government started?

this problem needs to be tackled quickly its not people involved within the scheme directly its people outside the scheme trying to milk it a green deal assessment is from £0-£150 depending on who and where the GDAO is. same with solar people jumped on a wrecked the reputation of solar panels etc.
