Hi there.

It may be the picture quality but counting from the right circuit 4, that looks like a 1.0mm or possibly 1.5mm on a 16A MCB or is it 10A?????

The only other thing I can see is that you need to label your main earth and bonding conductors.

just checked my certificate, thats a new lighting circuit in a 1.5mm on a B10. worked out the total load it 7.02amp so put on a 10 amp. With regard labeling my earth conductors is that required as the bonds are in the relevant terminals.Or do you mean label as water and gas. Thanks for the feedback.

looks like in the main earth bar theres no earth on the number 3 but you have a used breaker numbered 3. think the inspectors/assessors are quite hot on numbering circuits and there terminations properly. also on your 'important' sticker on your cover recommended date of next inspection in a domestic is 10yrs, which you've put, or change of occupancy. i always put '10 years or change of occupancy'

hope this helps

I think the earth on number 3 is just bent higher up as was restricted by lenght so couldnt make it take the same route as the other. With regard numbering would it be advantageous to buy a numbering kit and slip number rings on each wire.:)

Yes. M.E.C for main earth, water, gas, structural steel etcetc.

Never marked them up myself, and never been pulled up on it in my inspections, however, from now on, I'll get my marker out! :)

For a board swap, it looks as grand as owt! ("as good as anything" for those not familiar to the Yorkshire accent)

would look good but bit of overkill on domestic. you would see it alot more on the industrial/comercial side of things, so maybe if your going to head down that route aswell. also cant remember with wylex boards but pretty sure the main switch needs to be labelled with a 'which way on, which way off' sticker if that makes any sense!? it usually comes with the sticker set that came with the board, probably be an arrow up, arrow down kind of thing and would sit to the left of the main switch.

sorry i mean to the right of the main switch.
