First Year Done

So my renewal is due and I am only renewing due to the fact I have a few commercial jobs to finish and a few people have paid deposits for the summer. I do not think I would bother other wise.

I found it really hard to get jobs during 2012 and maybe was just about able to break even, I hope the green deal will help but we all know it probably wont and appears to be a re branding of the insulation scheme already in place.

I would like to hear from those of you who own companies and hear your experiences over 2012 how have you found things, have you been busy or finding things tough as well ? Are you planning on renewing when your membership comes up or are you going to leave it ? and what can the government realistically do if anything to help improve the situation. A majority of my efforts in 2012 was focused towards solar so we did not have much other work to help benefit.

If you don't want to share I understand but I would be interested what the other business owners on here think and probably others are as well.

Yes I do agree with you.

I was not trying to get peoples methods of obtaining business (but if you do have a good way I am all ears we are based in London so might not be direct competition lol )

More just to see how others are finding things, I really do believe in solar and have invested much into it, I just feel like more can be done, I often feel that the only people benefiting are those than can afford to do nothing. Unless you include "free solar panels" although that is debatable.
