why is it in the year 2011 that there is no chippy out there that can properly cook chips they spose to be golden in colour and crispy not white and soggy
Its ok because they have probably joined a registered chip frying governing body so even though they cant cook chips to save there life it dont really matter as long as they pay there fees every year.They've probably been on a "Become a chip shop owner in 5 days and earn £50,777" course!:crazy:

that will be the £100 thinggy my wife bought got home put away till we moved house then unpacked it n read the instructions 35mins for chips n 45 for chicken i said Chips for breakfast chicken for lunch lol as would be cold before chicken was ready so its ontop of the units nowAll my local chippies are pants!!!!
The best one is on the seafront about 40 miles away!
My nan made the best chips in the world, without any of these new fangled rotofryer, cook with a thimblefull of oil thingies!!!
Thats the one Vernam, I'm surprised you're not keen mate I often run the wife and kids over there and sit by the stream in the park if it's warm chewing away merrilyon a nice bit o cod.

Green Lane chippy = Pascoes mate. It's been ran by David and Brian for years, I grew up about 200 yards from it and it was a weekly treat when my parents used to get us our supper from there
