So i hear the FIT is dropping dramatically on Jan 1st? I know its scheduled for Oct 1st as well but theyre reviewing Jan 1st too. Has anyone any idea by how much percentage wise? Export tariffs remaining at 4.85p, I think!

Pre accreditiation for 50kW + commercial installs is now being removed from 1st Oct so if you haven't got your Permitted development in with planning its too late now, so just about the only jobs that can now be done are 'connect on existing' with no grid works and need to be finished by Dec 31st

Just checking here then.

If an install already has (44kw) panels on a 40kw of inverters previously installed.

And they are allowed via local grid to add another 25kw inverter this still comes under MCS accreditation doesnt it for the second install.

and the client can still apply for fits using the MCS certificate for the 2nd install?

Would still be classed MCS and an extension, so the tariff would be in the 50kw -100kw band.9.6 pence The existing tariff would remain unchanged . Would require another meter
