It is patently obvious that thousands of FIT registrations will miss the deadline simply because the system will breakdown. No public office is going to be able to handle this sort of workflow and there will be hell to pay. It seems we should contact someone in authority to get clarification that all valid completed registrations will be processed if they receive a correctly completed recorded delivery application to the suppliers offices. It will be easy after the event to say we didn't receive it and that's a few thousand pounds lost for many customers. It will be the installer who cops the claim for loss of earnings.
It should be an industry wide agreement and administered by one authority.
I just don't think OFGEM is going to be any use.
It certainly should be included in the review being carried out by parliament even though it has not actually happened yet.
We have people with influence on here so any ideas?
