yes they can make a down payment to make the mthly repayment lower.

Gavin I am giving examples not real life cals.

but if a south facing system produces 3400 kwh PA so 3400 x 13 = 442 / 12 = £36.83 (ps I do know solar will produce more in soring and summer before you say) but as an average so if you can either

A. make savings bigger
b. make a down payment

you can get solar under Golden rule.
 
oh, well yes, obviously solar can be partially paid for from green deal, I don't think that's ever been in doubt.

I know you're giving examples, I'm just pointing out that they don't work, at least not to be fully funded.
 
I think I will get them under the golden rule , or if not with a very small down payment .

you can also put your low repayment lower than the saving then increase it by 2% PA

to included more GD measures.
