the uk is but a small player in the world pv market. don't expect prices to drop that much. They may initially as UK suppliers offload excess stock but it's your margins that are going to take the hit
Remember the Chinese industry is heavily subsidised by the government so in fact the price must be at or near bottom. As inflation kicks in in China's prices could rise. If the dollar strengthens the prices will certainly rise. Other countries will gear up but then what quality will be coming out of these new players. There are a thousand containers of panels on their way to various warehouses around the country which cannot be returned so watch for some good offers in January. If there is new technology out there which does the job for less cost then we may see a revival in our own market but not seen anything yet.
