Fitting consumer unit outdoors open to the weather

Hi,
Im fitting a small consumer unit outdoors to feed some garden lights and a hot tub .Where the customer wants it is open to all wheather conditions, there is no shed or shelter to put it in.
Iv looked at an IP 65 rated consumer unit MK, but i was woundering if i should make some sort of enclosure to protect it from the weather. Its rated to IP65 so it should be ok?

i thought the hole point of putting in an ip65 in those conditions is because its got an enclosure already

As it claims to be both dust proof and water jet proof a little rain would not hurt it

1 is bad enough but 2 condoms at once will spoil the fun altogether!

No problems, but make sure you maintain the correct IP rating when you shove the cables in.

use a tube of silicone every where!

Some good stuffing glands fitted underneath would suffice and drill a small hole in the bottom so if any water does penetrate and collect in the bottom it should drain out.
