Hi all, I'm looking for any advice with regards to fixing equipment to the inside of an ISO shipping container. New DB, lights, sockets, switches etc. Just looking for a recommended method of fixing to the container itself. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Most equipment in these containers are fixed to a ply lined frame and ideally if you are wiring power & lighting then the whole container should be ply lined

A wooden frame can be installed without drilling holes and creating leaks everywhere which can then be lined with ply

Ultimately it is up to your client and what they want to play for if they want a hole / leak free container

I have wired containers that have not been lined out before but it's a pain in the aris, I had to laminate ply to the sides where I needed to put containment, lights and equipment. Then let that go off for a couple of days before doing the install. It worked well in the end.

When you say laminate the ply on,do you mean using adhesive to fix the ply?

Yeah, that's it, strong building adhesive. I usually use CT1 or sticks like sh@t. Once dry it will break the ply trying to remove it again!
Usually use Plaster boarder props to hold the bits of ply in place until dry.
I'll be honest it's something that I didn't really give much thought to. I was thinking about just using a normal fixing on ply, grind off the excess outside the container then spray paint over where I have been.

The few I have done like that were because the customers didn't want any holes drilled in them apart from the supply cable through the base. I have done them before using tec screws (self drilling screws) through the external walls and then grind off the excess that works well too! All depends on your customer and what they are happy with!
