Im replacing two outside 100w halogens and re-routing the cables.
Would 1.0mm black flex with crimps be ok to use from fcu to lights?

Im thinking more of 1.5mms t&e from cu to fco, then flex on to the lights.
The crimping i referred to was for the flex into the fcu.
Cheers.
Why? I have never used ferrels connecting a flex into a spur, just twist the cable in your fingers until tight and bend it over, what is this ferrel nonsence about then?Indeed he does.
I usually do it but then ive always got ferrules in my bag because we use km's of tri rated and beldon every monthWhy? I have never used ferrels connecting a flex into a spur, just twist the cable in your fingers until tight and bend it over, what is this ferrel nonsence about then?

Well I am sorry I have offended you Jim.Nowt wrong with using ferrules, so i don't see the point of calling them nonsense.
