Anyone have any opinion on this? Personally I say no as its not IPX4, but I do a lot of bathrooms and its an issue I occasionally come across.
I've been asked to put an elec towlel rail bang in between a bath and shower before so nowhere to put an outlet which caused a bit of an argument with the bathroom designer.
I suppose theres an argument to say that as opposed to a switched FCU, you dont have any reason to touch it and the bathroom section of the OSG is a bit vague but I still says no.

I asked a similar question a while back and the concensus was that it was OK. I did use the type of outlet where the cable exited the cover vertically downwards.

I was following the design by a bathroom company!

Cheers Murdoch, I'll bear that in mind in future. Those bathroom designers just make up their own bloody rules, and if you won't have it....well.....easier to find another sparky than redesign the bathroom eh?
