Flickering downlighters

I have installed 12v downlighters in my mates kitchen, they are controlled by 2 way dimmers.
The dimmers and downlighters are supposed to be compatible, but now and then the downlighters flicker.
What could be the cause of this?

How many circuits, are dimmers match to load

Yes it is 2 way switching, but one dimmer and one 2 way switch.
Just to add, not all the lights flicker, just one or two, and the ones that flicker change about sometimes too.... weird!

Check all connections , spech l.v.connections

Underrated dimmer for the load probably.

Dimmers are rated at 400W but switching only 350W, guess I'll have to double check tightness of connections but I'm confident they are all good. Anyone can drop a ------- though!

You'll need a bigger dimmer for the LV Halogens, one that will switch at least 700W

You have to half or double the rating of the dimmer. Forgot which way it goes now!
