Hi all.
I have been asked to put two lights on two 30ft floodlight pylons. (one on each)
They need to be at around 6-8ft high. It will be a new circuit and run in SWA.
Is it 'correct' or acceptable to run the cable up the pylon to that height? (on the outside)
Also, any ideas on cable fixings for the above? Or, would an alternative way of doing this job be better?

Many thanks in advance.

Gerry.

Have done this before we fixed a 200x200 wooden plate to the pole and mounted our light and adaptable box (with a stuffing gland for the light flex) to this then cleated the armoureds down the pole, looked quite nice just make sure you make the plate to suit your fitting
