Floor Boxs In A Kitchen

Just being asked to look at a New Kitchen Extension that is all trendy with Wall to Ceiling Glass. The Client wants Power near the Glass Walls in the Kitchen well away from Sinks etc. Just reading the BRB to see what I can Do or NOT and not making any progress yet. Worried that the Floor will get wet when Tiles are washed etc. Was wondering if any Pointers to this sort of requirement or wher it is documented in the bible.

Thanks in advance

I wouldnt have thought installing floor boxes in the kitchen was a very good idea for the reason you have stated, and without knowing the actual layout and intended use for the sockets it's difficult to suggest anything , the glass panels must have a support so can they not be installed within this, anyway surley this is a problem for the archietect / consultant

Barmy!! ....The Lady of the house will soon see the folly of having glass floor to ceiling in a kitchen, when she has to keep them clean!! Not an easy task at the best of times, adding cooking splashes and oil and fat into the equation, and i best they don't stay there too long!!! ...hahaha

Just the tripping hazard would tell any sane person that it's a non-starter, then add in all the crap that's going to collect in them,no matter what type you install. But then commonsense has long since left some people in this world!!!
