Can someone assist me please?

Having never wired florescent lights before can you wire them using the loop in loop out method. I only ask as I'm having a problem with one of them am just off to buy a replacement starter for it to see if that's the problem. Feed comes off a socket spur through a 3a FCU to switch and then onto first florescent light that has a connector block in it and then onto the next (Only 2x 34W single lights). Wired in 1.5mm.

I just want to confirm this set up is okay and not causing problems and that it is just a bum light.

Your help is always appreciated

nothing wrong with wiring that way. just ensure that the T/E is not dressed alongside the ballast.

Thank you all for your quick replies.

T&E is going down passed the ballast as it comes in and goes out at each end via conduit.
For interests sake how does that effect things and how do you get around that little problem?

Thanks in adavance

This particular light when I twist the starter to take it out turns light on but when I turn it clockwise to lock it in the light goes out again.
Any ideas about that one?
