hi all just wondered if anyone had this problem in the past.my fluke has stopped being able to do a 200v insulation resistance test.the 500v and 1000v work fine but when pressing the button to choose your voltage 200v no longer appears.

any advice much appreciated

Yeah give them a shout. Mine's off with them for repair at the moment (and has been for a week) but with a different problem. Hope they get it back quick, bit of a pain in the **** to say the least!

well got in contact with fluke, once they had found out the meter was no longer in warranty it was that will be ÂŁ185+vat fixed repair charge.no insight into the problem was offered.I cant justify spending that on a 5yr old meter. seems bizarre that they charge that no matter what the fault is.

Or I know a place in Stafford that looks at the problem first (no fixed repair cost) so you could tell them what it's doing and they might have an idea what it could be? Could send it to them and if it's cheap fix it, if they say they want ÂŁ200 tell them to keep it and just get yourself another one. Do a search for calibration centre stafford, think they trade under a couple of different names
