I saw an advert in profesional electrcian this month regarding a tester di log but ive neer heard of them

anyone know anything about their products?? any good?? rubbish etc.

im trying to choose between fluke or di log, cost is quite a factor as di log is cheap but im not sure.

Well matey I dont have either so cant comment.

If I had to go for one then would go Fluke for the obvious reason...everybody knows em. After sales should be good, warranty, repair etc.

I'd be catching the 15:10 train to meggersville myself....good piece of kit, pretty much bomb proof.:)
 
I would say to go towards the fluke option. But this is only my opinion because I already own a fluke tester which as been very reliable so far.
 
Had the same dilema about a month ago , what I found is that there were afew people that had issues with the diLog and reliabilaty .Many people on here raved about the megger and for the extra I didnt want to have to replace my chosen tester any time soon so I stumped up the extra and have not been dissapointed . I have used the fluke 1662 and megger 1553 and found the megger to be easiest to use . Also havent found a sole with a bad word to say about the meeger. Your money at end of day ! Got my megger 1553 for just under 600 including vat from brewtime.com , I can recomend them highly! also fluke dealers too I think. hope this helps.:D
