fluke socket tester

Had a strange indication on my plug in socket tester today.I got the 2 green lights and the red light all on at the same time.Anyone ever had this and what is it indicating.:cuss:

look at the picture on the front of the tester. it will tell you what the fault is.

No it does not show it on the front of the tester

got min in front of me now. which LED is red? if it's the left one, could be missing neutral.

What voltages did you measure at the socket, L-N, L-E and E-N, when you checked this with your MFT or voltmeter?

No it does not show it on the front of the tester

Is it a real one or a toy one?

If it doesn't tell you what the fault is then do all the normal circuit tests manually with a real tester.

Plug your MFT in and get a proper answer?

what have you done to the circuit since your fisher price plug in tester gave you these lights??
Time for the mft and a more in depth look into the circuit i think mate!!

Fault finding with a socket tester, of any sort is a waste of time, they can only give you an indication, test the circuit with a suitable MFT, if you are competent then you should be able to locate the fault (for the OP)
