Fly leads on back boxes

Hi could someone please tell me the reg number for the reg where it says one fixed lug and the backbox doesn't need earthing on accessories I can't find it anywhere but I know its in there, cheers

Spin beat me to it. There's no reg saying to do it, we just put a fly lead in because its good practice and only takes a min.

trhink it was a minor amendment to 16th around 2005.

I haven't got my GN 8 with me but wasn't it in there. I think that the NICEIC push this more than most.

Yeah I have read it somewhere just want to show it to someone, i know I have read it but can't find it, I know nic push for it but it's only good practice right

Section 9.7 of GN8 discusses this, and refers to an earthing tail ('fly-lead') as being desirable.

if you used conduit or micc (pyro) years ago you had to put in an earth tail and then it got silly
