Hi,

I tried making some flyers, they turned out ok, i dont have a copy to put up at present as im at work,(01:09am poxy shift work!)

I used microsoft office publisher to create mine, they have templates for flyers etc. There fairly easy to make, like you said, company name, number, your name, what services you offer, (PAT, PIR, Install, Domestic, Commercial etc etc etc)

If your part p registered, who with etc, checkatrade.

email and website address if applicable.

Pictures or a company logo if you have one.

Hope that helps

How many did you print off on one page?

For our commercial flyers I printed one per page as that is how my mate designed them, but as that was a massive waste of paper i desinged some domestic ones for door to door around the streets, i printed 2 per A4 sheet.

Personaly i dont think any smaller is wise, getting 4 copies out of an A4 sheet of paper will make the flyers a bit to small, where as 2 per sheet is big enough for a small amount of info, key points about what you can offer, email, phone number website, logo company name etc etc etc. Ours were full colour flyers printed on average paper using a fairly good printer at work, quality was surprisingly good.

We did a flyer drop in the local business area and within a day so so we had a job, so considering they cost next to nothing to do its a fairly good return.........although that has been the only job so far! But we didnt have that many to start with, definatly worth a go in my opinion.
