Hi everyone. I have the following items for sale that I can't seem to shift on eBay. I'm sure they will be of use to some of you gentlemen.

20 x 100A Double pole Isolators complete with enclosure and 6mm tails (Deopke)
20 x 6A 30m/A RCBO
20 x 25A 30m/A RCCB

ÂŁ10 each or you can have the lot for ÂŁ300.

just a thought on MCBs in general. why can't the manufacturers fit the retaining clip at the top instead of the bottom. then we wouldn't have to drop the busbar to replace 1 poxy MCB.

You need to be careful selling second hand Breakers, RCDs or RCBOs fella, warrenty issues for one and what if a member of the public bought one and the house burned down? a can of worms.

Nothing beats buying new materials especially since they paying for it. One less thing to worry about if it plays up. And you won't kick yourself just the guy behind counter at wholesalers ..

Typical of you mike, always see the worst. What adding your experience to my ups post. Morning

Providing you ensure the ups equipment is isolated on both poles treat the sockets like an ordinary circuit, I would avoid an IR test and use the low loop test as you would when testing a circuit with an RCD on it.
