I'm about to start measuring up and racking out my van (a Ford Transit Short Wheel Base). I was thinking of using marine ply or similar. I'm totally new to this so if anyone's done it themselves I'd welcome tips on what to do and what not to do (or links to any handy websites). Specifically, tips would be really useful on:

1) where to avoid putting fixings due to wires etc (on a Ford Transit Short Wheel base - for example, I know there are cables in the rear door pillars but not sure for example how they get to the socket on the tow bar)

2) how best to keep boxes on shelves (angle the shelves, use dowels, something else)

3) how to avoid weight distribution issues

Thanks
