Mods feel free to move this, couldn't make up my mind where to put it!

The 'water in your diesel filter' light has come on in my 56 plate T280, but nothing actually seems to be wrong and I've done 200 miles without incident.

It may just be the sensor?

There might be a small drain on the bottom of the filter to allow you to drain the water off. Most fuel you get now has some water content and the filter just draws it off and needs emptying occasionally.

Cheers lads. It's due a service anyway, just wanted to check nothing urgent. I'll go and look for the drain plug.

Done! On mine theres a little plug/spring/plunger contraption on the top - remove and tip out contents.
