Hi
1st off I no nothing about electrics..

i I recently purchased a fork lift truck and charger that has this plug attached:

I would like to get the appropriate socket installed but hoping someone could tell me how much work needs to be done?


Inside my unit I have this power supply:

Hi Brewer, welcome to the forum :D, I have approved your post for the general forum for a speedier response, when admin' is next on line you may be given DIY access and the thread relocated.
 
that's a standard 16A "commando" plug. aany local spark will be able to fit you the appropriate socket.

on this image it says current 27, does that mean 27 amps?

Yup. you might want a 32A plug and socket for that then. In practice it might be well under 27A, that's probably when set for 200V input and absolute maximum charge rate, still likely to go over 16A I'd think.
