Hi Guys - just wondered what form you use when you've only replaced like for like ie fitting replacment lights for example.

Its not a minor work as no alteration to the circuits. Its just that I've completed a couple of jobs and used the minor works form but crossed out the parts not relevant. Just didn't look that professional.

If anyones got a form I could use that would be great.

You don't need one for "like for like" replacements, anyone can change like for like... or so I believe.

yes you can make use of a MEIWC for this as it is minor work

you have to give certs for every job officially as you have replaced the fitting you should be testing the circuit

if like for like no form of certification is required unless they really want a minor works just put N/A next to the boxes that are not used.

One of the firms clients requires a MWC for anything other than lamp,consumables change and individual mwc for every job done ie 18w ballast in cafe MWC 1 18w ballast in toilet MWC job takes longer but hey ho theyr paying for it
