Hi - I thinks to do with the browser check thing. Refresh page just prior to posting etc. See if it helps 
I get that as well, always happens mid-post. Or at the end of a post, when I send, I don't know if its gone or not, end up sending a duplicate.

Oh Ok just that's how I cured the problem.

The forums make heavy use of AJAX. This uses connections to the server that occur in the background... like saving the draft of the post you are working on. When these requests occur they are subject to the same DDOS protection system as the rest of the site. I believe this uses a cookie which times out after a while (which is why you'll see 'Checking your browser' sometimes, but not every time.
So when that cookie timesout and the AJAX stuff makes a request (trying to save a draft whilst editing), that error will occur. As @Wilko stated, refresh the page (I normally select the text I'm working on and copy it just in case) and the problem will go away for a while.

wrong idle Open a post up wait two to three minutes then try to submit a post you will get the error

It was an advert that came up between posts - bit of a shock as it’s animated so ‘0 - 60 in 3 seconds’
Keep expecting somthing like that to pop up , for interacing with
"Male -Supplements " -While Reporting them !

I don’t know how it all works but of late it’s been nice holiday advertising - until ‘big boy’ turned up to ruin it!

It's also worth pointing out that the ads are targeted from what I can tell, based on sites you've visited. When I visit RS I get a lot of RS ads here. When I visit music sites I get gear4music ads.
That being said I do get a lot of ads for dating sites telling me how to find various types of women. Which is disappointing... hunky men I wouldn't mind seeing in the sidebar, but sometimes scantily clad women... do nothing for me.
And before@SWD some smart 4$$ chimes in, NO... I don't visit any dating sites, nor do I get ads for willy enhancement.
