HOW do people get away with stuff like this?? Building owners, users have responsabilities under HnS Supermarkets ect are more affraid of Papertrail audits and EHOs than they are of HSE and workers wellfare they check temprature of fridges freezers cooked food and record it numerous times daily they test firealarms when it comes up their humff and record 5 mins before the fire alarm service is due
IMO HSE should be visiting EVERY buisness premisis on a proactive level even your home office, store instead they are "Fire fighting" AFTER something has happened

One things for sure that was no ELECTRICIAN that put that in.we should all go to parliament, every member and protest for the rights of the skilled electricians for a licence/card -no licence,no work, funny how the govt go on about part p,but as you say these commercial business types are not bothered with.

I had one similar the other week. board had no cover on in the commercial kitchen of all places. builder had taken it off when he put a wall up?? and neglected to pop it back on

Back when I was doing assessing I remember one guy who did a domestic rewire. The cover was missing and he explained it got thrown out with the scrap.
Took him two weeks to replace it with another cover and so he failed his assessment miserably.
