Do it mate, you're never stressed when you're playing (except when you first pick it up) Once you've picked out your first couple of riffs it becomes a drug. I've lost years of my life in guitars and I don't regret a second of it.
Yeah just want a guitar to play those catchy riffs in the songs i like and slowly learn from there

So what's stopping you? You can get some absolute bargains on fleabay and from cash converters.
Money haha I'm skint... I'm thinking of getting a starter's kit from amazon for around £100. I'm doing some part time work now so should be able to get it in a couple weeks

I just got one of these and must say it has a lovely sound to it, smaller than normal also as it is a parlour style. Mine is semi acoustic though. Music makes the world go round. :)

Tanglewood TW73 Sundance Parlour
YOU PAID £500 FOR THAT?!
Crikey man, you're on your way to a second hand Taylor for that amount!
Don't get me wrong, Tanglewoods are ok but there's loads better you could have had.
As long as you like though......

Here's my pride and joy

These bloody Air guitars are expensive though:smilewinkgrin:

Right chaps time for the wooden hill for me, see you all tomorrow.
I think Paul should be starting the prize draw tomorrow night so good luck to all the trainees.

LOL, in it's defence it is a lovely little guitar to play. So if you were to spend around the £500 mark what would you buy?

I bought it off my old man as he is a guitar teacher and has a vast collection of guitars and other instruments.
Ask your dad then but with that amount of cash I'd be looking for that second hand Taylor

Going to start with a full electric to start heard they're easier to play
They're not. There's no such thing as an easy guitar to play unless you're at a decent standard. With an electric you're going to need an amp to get the best out of it. With an acoustic you don't
