I'm starting a first fix on 4 bed new build at the end of next week. Customer has rung me this morning with a slight change to his TV set up.

Originally he wanted free view in 3 bedrooms, lounge and kitchen, then sky + in lounge, and one multiroom in one bedroom. So I was just going run the 5 free views coax to a 6 way booster in the attic. Then run 2 sky coax cables from the lounge to where the sky dish is going and another sky coax for the multiroom to the dish location.

No he wants the option to have sky and free view to each bedroom, lounge and kitchen. But keeping sky + in the lounge.

Now do I just keep the 2 sky cables for the sky + going to the dish location. Then take another cable from the dish to a multiswitch? Also run a coax from the digital aerial to the multiswitch? I would then need to use a triplex outlet instead of a normal TV / sky point?

Sorry if these seems a stupid question, I haven't done a system like this before

I will be very happy if anyone could help

If I were you I'd run 3 cables from the "loft" to each point the client wants TV/satalite. It'll cost them a bit more for the cable but keep them "covered" for the immediate future. I did this recently on the advice of a TV/Sat chappy and the client was happy.
 
If you only want SKY (HD) + in two locations you can get away with using a quad output LNB, you won't need a multiswitch for that. If it's any more than two locations for sky then go the multiswitch route (with a quatro LNB).

If you go the multiswitch route, most switches have a terrestrial input on them that allows you to mix a terrestrial aerial signal (dig or analogue) onto each of the outputs from the multiswitch. You can then have an accessory in each room that splits the signal back to it's components giving you RF, FM and two sat signals (just using two satellite down feeds to it).
 
Whilst you're about it, have you asked them about sat 5 connection in each room (it won't be long before most signals are provided by IP over the internet and not an RF or microwave signal).

they only want SKY + in the lounge, and normal sky in one of the bedrooms. But would like the option of being able to either have freeview from the aerial in all the rooms, but may want to change one of the rooms to get sky in the future.

The bloke really doesn't want to spend much more running 3 cables into each room. (he's a farmer)

To bed: One sat cable and one standard coax.
To others: One standard coax.

I wasn't too far way then. I generally just use sat coax, as 80% of houses round my way have sky. No cable available in north west Wales I'm afraid
 
on a different subject, how do you get to watch a sky channel in your bedroom, the same channel that is on in the main skybox.
There are a couple of ways, both involving utilising the RF (or RF2) output on the sky box. If the sky box has an terrestrial aerial connected then the RF output multiplexes the incoming RF (from the aerial (either dig or analog)) with the current sky channel. You then either feed this into an RF sender or feed it up into the loft and split/distribute it.

Just ensure that the channel chosen for the RF (and RF2 outputs) don't interfere with either the terrestrial analog or dig frequencies (different by area).

so if I run a 4 cables from the lounge, x2 sky +, x1 aerial, and now another cable from RF of this box all the way to the bedroom that might want to watch the same channel. ( run along with the freeview aerial cable)?

Then any analog capable TV in the house can be tuned to the sky RF output channel to watch that.
