Hi ,anyone know if t&e is now allowed in france I know it used to be singles only for cpc size ,seemed to remember rules changing ? anyone done work there recently ? cheers

Interesting. Do Europe have a reason for not using t&e?

And American. They have it too, with uninsulated CPC but different colours, sizes, insulation materials and name. Australia has it with the insulated CPC. Much of the planet however uses sensible round cables.

T&E is also allowed in Ireland, although that is currently in the process of a standards change. It will now have to have a full size, insulated cpc.

Recently published Amendment 2.2 to ET101:2008 incorporating Amendment No.1 (2011) has introduced the new form of T&E with insulated full-size cpc in the south of Ireland.
