Frequency of PAT Testing.

I have been asked the question, regarding the frequency of PAT testing computers.
The specific question being this, computers are required at a given frequency.
Now some computers are in a communial area ie library and some in an office.
Is there any difference to the frequency of a computer based on the location ie a single one in one office used by only one person.
Wow, that took some typing.
Any guidance will be much appreciated.

Do you have a copy, or have access to The IEE Code of practice for inservice inspection and testing of electrical equipment? Pages 33-36 would give you guidance.


However if you're the one doing the testing and recommending a re-test period, its really your call based on what you see during testing and your understanding of the environment etc.

I will go through the code of practise for guidance.
I am not doing the testing myself, a company will be given the job.
