Fridge and freezer on one fcu?

Hi this is a bit of a silly question but i'm not sure about it .
can i run a d/socket off a fcu to feed a under worktop fridge and freezer ?

Yes that's fine - assuming the fcu is on an appropriate circuit.

the kitchen is on its own ring so the fcu will be off that .

but would i be right in saying i can't do the same with the washing machine and dishwasher has the load would be to much

Yes that's what I meant. Not on cooker or lighting circuits for example.

You'd be surprised what people do.

Would likely be too much for one fcu (13A).

You can have another fcu further along the circuit.

It is practice these days to have a switched fcu above the worktop over each such appliance and a socket below but you can use double socket if you want.

Should point out that WM and DW on at the same time might be too much for one fcu - best have one each for these but fridge and freezer not a problem.
