Aha got rapped on the knuckles by REAL for using 8% got told to use 5%!

The Office for National Statistics constructs the UK CPI by currently placing a low weight of 4.4 per cent on “Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels”. Increasing the relative weight of the above category will make CPI more dependent on shocks to energy prices."

Even when I showed REAL this http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/dcp171778_271942.pdf (see section 04.5 page 25 ) - electricity = 8% they were insistent ..
