My supplier redeemed them selfs today!!!! all good, got my 13 panels this morning and there up and running on my first Solar Edge System (good bit of kit) and also got my 16 panels for tomorrows job! - but - they have just loaned my next lot of 9 to someone, but thats ok as dont need till monday - so there not too bad after all.

I was after Solar Edge but my installer could not get so system being installed today/tomorrow is a 4000TL and 16 x Sanyo 250W.

Shame as I wanted the Solar Edge. Also wanted the new Wylex PV CU with inbuilt generation meter but getting a Crabtree and seperate meter. And the K2 rails/brackets for 35mm rafters I was told about have also been substituted for something else.

Guess you have to be lucky for whatever you get at the moment.

Sure thing, your doing well to get a 4000 and Sanyo 250's - The Solar Edge is great, i was well impressed, its the first one ive installed but i will certainly be pushing it more (if there's anything to push) on future installs.

just got a complete PLUG AND PLAY WYLEX kit INTERESTING deffo time saver!! but i do like nice big seperate meter!!

Told my installer to try CAS but guess they never bothered or a SE4000 was not available or only to those who ordered ages ago.

Did you use the Power Optimisers on every panel too?

Liked the idea of a 12 year warranty as standard.

And now the Wylex is also available when my installer said it was not. They said they were not very good and that the generation meter was small so hard to read. I just wanted a neat all in one install.

neat tidy! but yes client will struggle! ive given them a magnifine glass as a FREEBIE :))))))))))))))))))) the mc4 connectors just plug into isolator GOOD idea but its not realy a struggle normally just thought i would try it!!

Todays job

Thanks, it's not perfect, but considering the pressure and time were under.

Also roofer had used one way nails 2yrs ago, when we was pushing the tiles back it caught the felt and ripped, so we ended up stripping the roof, re-felting, and replaced 30 tiles! Yes this roof is only 2 yr old, I've never come across nails like these ones, they were serrated and would not come out. The only saving grace was it had a dry ridge, bonus.

I think you've ben lucky every delivery I've had off Cleaner Air I've had problems with. I'd have preferred to deal with them because they are closer to us but I haven't had faith in them since about April - let down too many times I'm afraid.

Glad you got sorted though :-)

I'm sure u need building regs, or something to do with council to remove chimney? Any way he got best of a bad situation.
