Fuse pointing downwards ang plug not working

Hello,

I have just come home from a long day in the office and the fuse on my fuse box, the lever thing is pointing downwards, the plugs down seem to work either?

Do you think they are related?

I really need to get this sorted tonight as the milk will be warm by the morning.

Do you think I should get my neighbour round to look at it? He is a kitchen fitter, he says he's good with electrics... There's this bloke at the pub otherwise.

Please help.

The bloke in the pub, particularly this time of night should be the first point of call for such a technical problem as this.

Re the fault, as a temp solution, drink the milk now.

forget about milk, is there any beer in in fridge if so get that down you throat NOW,I think the best ting to do is after you have sorted beer out is go to bed, it might be a good idea to get a plumber around as it looks like it might be a water thing going on, but if not at lest HE will be able to tell you whats wrong with it, just make shore the beer does not get warm, hope this helps
