Fitting a new CU today (domestic TT) and using "Fusebox" for the first time - 14 way Type A RCBO board, 9 ways used 5 spare.

All good until testing RCBO trip times - 7 test perfect, but 2 (both 6A) tripping during half test, 1 @ 0 the other @ 180. All loads disconnected, tested again, same results. I'm assuming these 2 are faulty or have I missed something at the end of a long day?

Ramp test for all 9 RCBOs trips @ 18mA. To my mind this is much too low, but I assume this is the design as they are all the same. (MFT recently calibrated and working fine as far as I'm aware from other tests and recent use.)

Anyone else had any issues with these RCBOs / the brand?

I have another 6 way RCBO board to fit this weekend so a little anxious...

I have tried a few of the fusebox cu, and rcbo and found them to be really good, and have no problem with contractors using them on any sites I have been involved with, normally given a choice I specify hager if the client wants me to choose/specify otherwise it's fair game, but really don't like bg.

Not sure if they are not available, or just difficult to get, but bg appears to be type ac rcd/rcbo only, which could be an issue.

These would be the first failures I have been aware of with the fusebox kit.

Hi matey

I've fitted a few of the Fusebox boards with no issues at all find the quality as good as all the other leading brands, I fitted a board the other week and another board yesterday all the RCBO's tested at 21mA very consistent I too always ramp test after I've done the Auto RCD test on my MFT just for peace of mind, also found that all my 1x and 5x were very consistent test results
