I have had a new kitchen 3 months ago and the new integrated tumble dryer stopped working. No power, nothing. It is under warranty so an engineer came out and fixed it. He said that the plug has been cut off and a three pin push fit connector is in its place. He replaced the cable and plugged it into the wall and it works.
I have a fused 13amp switch above the work top with the cable running behind the tiles. This cable does not end in a socket but another 3 pin push fit connector. I googled it and they are normally used for lighting. I need to change this to a socket. Can I put a normal 13amp socket on the end or do I need something else?
