G4 compact panel keypad fault

Hello, sisters alarm had gone off and when I arrived to the led keypad the buttons were lit up but not the indicator lights. Swapped keypad for crystal lcd screen and there is a display but no reaction to attempting to reset the system. Took panel lid off and ALARM IS NOW GOING OFF. Any ideas?

Power down both mains and battery, power back up again and try the code.

You've set off the lid tamper will probably need engineer code

SoundeSounder d went off again today but had been powered off about 16 hours. Left panel without power from mains or battery last night and will try and see what voltage is in the battery incase it needs swapped. Think I powered it down and reenergised but didn't seem to do anything
