Anybody intrested in getting in touch in regards to G59 regs and using micro inverters on a 3 Phase system,

Are you a customer or an installer, as this would be assist you in your replies.

Also, why do you want to use micro inverters on a large system?, do you realise how much extra this will cost so affecting the financial returns.

I'm an installer and yes I do realise the extra cost but as they say the customer is allways right! if it was upto me the job would get a power one or an sma tl. As it's only a 8.5kw.

If its your customers call then fine it's their cost but I will say the micro inverters are a breeze plug and play all the way and also cuts down the DC wiring for a safer install. I recently did these down on a new build site which had 2 240w panels per flat, all 480 watts and the main contractor had put 100watt bulbs into the 8 light fittings in the flats. Beyond belief but it wasn't my call to say anything about it, I just smiled at their stupidity

Totally understand Jon, Ive been doing solar pv for about 6-7 years now and I cant understand why poeple get sucked into silly ideas, KISS( keep it simple stupid!)
