Starting to run in to difficulties here. Several inverters that were registered under G83/1 do not appear to be so under G83/2. What are people currently using? Am looking at the moment for a 5kW for an east west system. Only option so far is Solar Edge 5000 which the prospective customer would not have on the premises due to Israeli origin of product.

Any ideas please.

how come you need G83/2 if it's more than 16amps single phase?

I thought that everything over 16amps had to be G59 now after they ended the relaxation that used to allow the G83 stage 2 process to be used for up to 50kW 3 phase / 17KW single phase installs.

If it's actually 5kWp of panels East / West then either the power-one 3.6 or SMA 3600TL would be fine for that. anyway.

6kW system, so working on using a 5kW inverter.
Eltek 4.4kw is G83/2 registered as is 4.6kw (which is not available), but they are only single trackers. Could look at using Tigo optimisers but bangs another ÂŁ500.00 on the job

have you got permission to install it as G83/2 then even above the 3.68kW standard limit? I thought they'd stopped doing that.

SMA 4000TL would be the best match I know of with the G83/2 certification, I've got a spreadsheet to work this sort of stuff out, and it looks to be minimal losses from about 30 degree slope angle upwards, no losses at all from 35 degrees, and that's for Leeds, the sun would be lower up there I think.
