Had a meeting with the top tech guy from Power-1 yesterday and he was telling me about the new G83/2 and the new DTI coming soon and the one thing we talked about was TL inverters and bonding the rails and according to him this will no longer be the case.
He was saying he was an advisor for it allbut then again it could of just been a load of crap we so will have to wait and see.

Our NICEIC inspector told us this a few weeks ago? Might be something in it....hopefully.

The DTI guide is indeed being revised and it is promised the new version will cover all the existing grey areas such as earthing and RCDs.

G83 is also going to be updated - but when that will be is anyones guess.

This is excellent news. I'd be very surprised if the need to bond array frames was removed from the DTi guide - I'd have thought if anything they would just clear up the PME situation.
