Have you notified building control?

You've had good advice, your post shows a lack of competence to complete, test and notify this installation, swallow your pride and call an electrician.

Just because it came with those MCBs doesn't meen that you have to use them. I would wire the garage with 2.5mm^ SWA fused at 20a, then wire the sockets as a Radial using a 16a/20a MCB, and the lights using 1.5mm^ T&E fused at 6a. Please Please. Get someone in who knows what they are doing, and is safe.

The garage is attached to the house, I am wiring the garage with 2.5mm T&E ring for sockets on 32A C/ breaker like as you have in the main house and 1.5mm T&E radial on 6A C/breaker for lights.
What am I doing wrong then?

If you're using 2x 2.5mm cables on the ring, plus a 1.5mm for the lighting, how is 1x 2.5mm cable going to be able to supply the lot?

Sorry but TBH nobody should recommend anything at all to you as you obviously are not competent in this field and in all probability are about to break the law by doing notifiable work without first having informed your local building authority. If you had contacted them you would know that their fees are so punitive as to make it more economical to employ a Part P registered electrician than to do the work for yourself. You are risking fines and potential damage to your property, but more importantly you could be endangering someones life.

This whole setup is wrong mate and the more you say the worse its getting. Just please leave it to someone who knows how, and if you say you have recently qualified (which I think is the answer coming) than still leave it to someone who has more experience. It's gna come back and bite you on the arse. :(
