im about to change an old rewirable garage cu for a rcd 2 breaker unit. It is fed from a breaker in the house cu.On the eic where they ask for supply protective device characteristic without removing the supply authority fuse which i dont need to do for the garage cu would writting not known be acceptable in this case

No the protective device for this sub circuit will be the overcurrent device on the house C.U., The house C.U. does not I assume Have RCD protection on the outgoing ways
